Schedule Change
Dear Panther Parents,
This past Thursday, one of our alumni, Autumn Chilson (Yeiter), lost her 4-month-old son. This loss is also near to several of our faculty and staff members who are among Autumn’s family. While many in the Crosspointe family are grieving, they have already been a wonderful extension of the love of Jesus to this young mother. The family has asked to hold the funeral services here at Crosspointe on Wednesday, August 19th. To allow space for the family to honor the life of Declan, and so that our students and faculty can support the family, CCA is going to adjust to a half-day school day. Since this change may be an inconvenience for working families, we will have an extended aftercare available as well. Please see below for the details of our dismissal and aftercare plan.

Secondary (7-12) Dismissal - 11:40 am
Kindergarten Dismissal - 12:00 noon
Elementary (1-6) Dismissal - 12:10 pm
Funeral Aftercare in the gym - 11:40 am - 3:30 pm (no financial charge; please pack a lunch)
Standard Aftercare in the gym - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm (normal financial charges)
If you plan to pick up your student after 12:30 pm, they will be available at the gymnasium doors.
A closed, family-only visitation has been planned, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Doors will open at 1:30, and all are welcome to attend.
We know that this schedule change may be a challenge for some families, but trust that this adjustment will allow the Chilson and Yeiter families the time and space they need in such a difficult situation. Please join me in praying for them in the days and weeks ahead, as we all look forward to the promise and hope of heaven.
